THE PERFUME MAGAZINE LOGO & BANNER; Perfume Magazine Brand Consultant: Tim Girvin

Our logo was created by GIRVIN | Strategic Branding, based in Seattle, NYC, and Tokyo. This is a specially built font that their design team created exclusively for Perfume Magazine. It is a custom cutting, redrawn and founded on a type design originated in 1798 by Giambattista Bodoni, drawn from the archives of Firmin Didot, an exemplar of luxurious design principles for hundreds of years. GIRVIN's team built the "fume" trail, as well as composited the arrangement of the bottles as part of the branding strategy.

The Perfume Magazine Banner was designed exclusively by GIRVIN and is the property of The Perfume Magazine, LLC.

Fragrant Profile
By Giovanni Sammarco
Co-Founder, creator and artist of A Dozen Roses, Sandy Cataldo, signing bottles
The world of perfumery is usually so exciting, but occasionally it can become boring due to the high number of new launches that are not very unique or innovative.

These days it’s definitely difficult to find anything really new, but just when you are thinking to yourself  “it’s not possible, yet another oud?”, you meet a man that believes so fully in the artistic value of perfumery that launches a new brand of fragrance capable of intense delight and full of surprises!

Angelo Orazio Pregoni is that man and his brand O’driù is magnificent. He is a Perfumer capable of touching your heart and soul. I know that it’s difficult to imagine, but his perfumes send olfactory shockwaves through your very being.
Angelo’s fragrances are all natural and include all forms of flora and fauna, with a very deep, vibrant and long lasting silage, but to me the real value of this line is found in his skill and ability to translate his visionary world into the fragrances that he creates in a way that is completely different from the ordinary standards of the perfume world.

For example Angelo’s list of ingredients are completely surprising, astonishing me by listing two raw materials that are the true essence of perfumery but are often forgotten. One is magic, which is the secret gift of an artist who is more of an alchemist than a chemist.

The other is the most important ingredient of all: your skin and how your particular chemistry reacts and relates to each individual note.

There are several different lines of Perfumes offered by O’driù: Ladamo and Leva, as well as Alchimia di Profumo, a limited edition of three fragrances both in masculine and feminine version: Linfedele, Londa and Laltrove.

You can also find two very exclusive Perfumes named Lalfeorosa and Lalferogrigio, in a very limited edition of only 8 bottles of each. There is also a very special line of bespoke fragrances being developed beginning with the lovely Vis et Honor and Lafro. There will be more beautiful offerings in the bespoke category that will be available soon.
